About Bushnell
David P. Bushnell founded the company in 1948 after importing a shipment of Japanese binoculars and selling them through mail order. Through the second half of the 20th century, Bushnell became a mainstay for hunters, birders, target shooters, and sports spectators. The brand is now part of Vista Outdoor. The current line covers binoculars, rifle and handgun scopes, laser rangefinders, spotting scopes, and trail cameras. Samsonic carries the Bushnell retail catalog.
