About Remington
Remington Products was founded in 1937 when the original Remington Rand company began selling a dry electric shaver. The personal-care business was spun off in 1979 and is now owned by Spectrum Brands. The current catalog spans foil and rotary shavers, ceramic hair dryers and flat irons, nose-and-ear trimmers, and the value-priced clipper kits that sit alongside Wahl on the drugstore shelf. Samsonic carries the Remington retail line.
